Know Your Neighbors

Tired of hardly knowing the folks next door well enough to wave as they pull into their driveway and the garage door closes behind them?

Do you long for chats over the back fence or neighborhood cookouts?

Sad that your child has to wait for you to arrange a playdate to have anyone to play with, instead of just looking out the window to see who is outside?

Cohousing is a neighborhood where you know your neighbors and your neighbors know you.

Have you fantasized about each household on your block taking a turn once a week cooking dinner for everyone else, instead of a dozen families, every night when they get home, each cooking for just two or three people?

Do you spend your weekend mornings mowing your tiny patch of grass, looking over the fence and across the street at every other neighbor doing so too? Does every garage have a lawn mower?

Cohousing is a neighborhood where work and equipment is shared.
